Alright, now that the most chaotic month of my life is over and I am now married, I will be updating this website regularly. Myself and a few others have recently recorded audio and photographically documented several overhead micing techniques for a Wikiaudio article. The article includes pictures that reference actual audio samples so the reader can audibly recognize the different sounds that can be achieved by these mic placements. There's even the inclusion of the famous Glyn Johns technique, simple and classic (though you need a good drummer too). Thanks to Bill Turner for the opportunity to work on this project and contribute to the building of Wikiaudio. Nice to be back in the studio after a brief hiatus. Keep an eye out for my next project which will be some beginner video tutorials on using Pd.
